CoE Collective Hindsight: Awful science....

Actually, given that Trek has firmly established that humans can hear sounds across the vacuum of space, I find it annoying that the books don't speak of it. :D

Scratch that. I don't think the characters ever heard any big explosions in vacuum. Oh well...
 
What, do you not have a soundtrack following your every move? I thought everyone did. :confused:
 
Science has a language all it's own - terms used in the vernacular are often wildly different when used by a scientist. This difference is one of the principal reasons for so many of these sorts of understandings.

So, honestly, it IS relevant. One needs to understand what science is, before one can judge if it is bad or not.
