I'm sure you all get the reference.

To compete with Apple's Siri, Google is developing a similar function for their Android devices.

Majel is an evolution of Google’s Voice Actions that is currently available on most Android phones with the addition of natural language processing. Where Voice Actions required you to issue specific commands like “send text to…” or “navigate to…”, Majel will allow you to perform actions in your natural language similar to how Siri functions.

How awesome would it be if they could somehow sample and emulate Majel's voice for the interface?

As an iPhone user, I think this would be way cool. Its very nice to honor her like this, even in a small way. If anyones voice could be used for something like this, it would be hers. With all the samples that could be provided by Paramount from her work as ships computer, I think they would have enough.

It would definitely be cool if it could speak in Majel's voice, but if that's not possible, I think they should call it something else.
