This is too funny - haven't seen anything posted here yet, so thought I would share...

http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/14/world/feat-klingon-wales-ufo-response/index.html

The question was about UFOs in the skies over Wales. The answer came in an alien tongue.

"jang vIDa je due luq. ach ghotvam'e' QI'yaH devolve qaS," was the reply, according to British media.
Funny thing is I understand that, from those who speak it, the native Welsh language is at least as complex and convoluted as tlhIngan Hol.

I'd like to believe ... I want to believe ... but ...

The worldwide culture surrounding the UFO phenomenon has made the subject just way too embarassing to even want to investigate and explore. I mean, I've tried viewing some of those old UFO shows Jonathan Frakes hosted and the so-called "evidence" is utter shite. Even on an entertainment level, I've tried giving CLOSE ENCOUNTERS of the THIRD KIND a go and it was ... bad. Terri Garr looks beautiful, but her performance is hampered by these out of control brats running around and screaming all the time. There were instances where I couldn't even hear her dialogue, because of it.

The aliens don't want her kids, though, they try to take another blonde lady's and they do seem keen! They come down the chimney ... run around her upstairs ... crawl up her vents and unscrew the cover, whilst mum screams her bloody balls off. They finally have a tug of war over the kid through the bottom of the door, where her cat comes through! They don't take a hint, do they? And when they bother returning other stuff they've stolen, like a cruise-liner, they make sure it's a pain in everyone's ass by dumping it not in the water, but in the sands of the Mexican desert. And at the end, I'm meant to be in awe when the aliens rush out of their UFO, buck-naked, and release their many unwilling hostages after a jam session with Mission Control. And this was sold to me as the greatest UFO movie, like ... ever.

I knew that the Welsh have been promoting the Welsh language; I didn't know that they were also promoting Klingon. :)

Do'Ha' Dap neH 'oH. mughmeH jan lo'ba'ta' loDvetlh.

"Unfortunately, it is mere gibberish. That man has clearly used a translation device."

It's been interesting being a Klingon fan these past few days; my search results have really exploded, even when I filter out words such as "Wales" or "Welsh" :P
