"WORLD'S LARGEST ROCKET DELAYED AGAIN"

Umm... it's some 40-ish feet short of a Saturn V, and has nowhere near the payload capacity.

Just out of curiosity, is there a reason for that? The Saturn V seemed like a pretty solid system.

Lets see, shuttle, Ariane 5, Progress?

Tallest? yes, maybe. Largest? no. most powerful? hell no.

The first stage is a single shuttle SRB.

The Saturn V is still the most powerful machine ever built by man. It shouldn't be news to anyone, certainly not CNN... even the flunkies in the graphics dept.

According to Wikipedia, the Energia had more powerful thrust on liftoff, but fell short in other areas.

Altogether now:

"A thing's a phallic symbol if it's longer than it's wide..."

to the tune of the battle hymn of the republic.

World's largest firework delayed again would be more accurate.
