I'm going to disagree. I think that Clippy could get medieval on yer butt, if he wanted to, and it would have the same wicked, ominous, uncomfortable evil of a Chucky doll.

Wesley was just annoying.

Clippy is the name of the animated paperclip that would show up in versions of Microsoft Office older than 2003, to make suggestions as to ways a particular document could be improved. Most people found him pretty annoying. A parody of him named "Binky" used in the comic strip "Help Desk" (link takes you the the first strip) was a fairly humorous and lovable element, though, and causes me to have a bit more fondness for Clippy than for Wesley Crusher.

Wesley Crusher was a character I found annoying, though still entertaining from time to time. Plus, Wil Wheaton himself is actually a really cool guy.

Clippy, on the other hand, sucked. I'm glad it's dead.
