Clay Models Of The Starships?

A thought just occurred to me a few minutes ago. I don't think it's an original one, but it could be.

Has anybody ever tried to do a clay model of the Starships in Star Trek? Maybe even ceramic?

I guess I actually stumped this forum.

I did some searching and didn't find anything, but then I found the website for Miniatures Market and found a lot of Star Trek ship miniatures that I will eventually be buying.

Thank you for the help anyways.

I was simply curious.

I once attempted to make a Sculpture of the Original Series Enterprise in my sculpture/ceramics class in highschool but it never went anywhere and my artistic skills back then were...... yeah..... they were something. (Still something now if you catch my drift.)

You could try the Trek Art forum.
There are some model builders there. Perhaps they may have seen something in ceramic.

You might try Voyager--that is tight enough that the supports aren't too spindly.
The design could even be made into an airship

Not too surprising that it seems no one's tried it. I've certainly never thought of it before. Besides, it takes more skill than people realize to work in clay.
