^ I don't totally agree with Kelso, but I know where he's coming from.
I sense Kelso had tongue in cheek in that last comment, but I've seen people make the comment in total seriousness, not just regarding Doctor Who, but in their rationale for never watching black and white movies like Citizen Kane. My opinion has always been if something as petty as color is a deal-breaker, you don't deserve to watch it, period.
What has me worried is I'm starting to see people exhibit the same prejudice against non-HD and non-3D productions too (and permanent physical books). Worried, and quite sad because these people are squandering themselves out of a lot of entertainment and potential enlightenment. More for me, I guess.

future generations are going to be sooo spoiled..
"what's black and white tv? what's a fax?? What's a TV, we only immerse ourselves in hologram Vision, where you don't sit on the couch and are part of the interactive adventure.."
that does bother me..
in japan they had the first free form hologram (ala princess lea star wars) singing anime chick.. with AI software..
with 3D, and WII Fit, the Xbox Kinnex and so on..you get up off the couch and move cause of the obsessive need to stop the couch potatoes..
one day, TV will be a bygone era, and 3D immersible holographic serials, or holographic TV will be come the medium..
"don't just watch a show, live it!" or some such nonsense..
by then, you and I will have a passing thought..
ya know..??
compared to what the future may yield..Classic Doctor who in colour didn't sound so bad..
