city council member writes resignation letter in Klingon

Clearly he objected to the City Council's dishonorable dealings with the Romulan Chamber of Commerce . . . .
 
His resignation sure got worldwide publicity, which might have been its intention.

As long as the letter is legally binding, who cares what language it's in?

Got to agree here. This guy wants to run for Senate? Good luck trying to get anyone but Star Trek fans to vote for you.
