Absolutely. Loved how things were resolved, loved that they're picking up on the Ring and Fulcrum being factions of something else, and that Stephen might still be alive. (No body, no death!)
As for the end development.. interesting, even if I see it being short-term.

That was awesome. I've not been watching much this season...but have watched the last two episodes and that was a bad ass finale. Looking forward to next season.

Strange twist. Not sure why the CIA would just leave Castle still somewhat operational. Oh well I guess I can do another 13 episodes of this show being the final season.

Ol' Clyde's days are numbered.
Decker didn't destroy Castle for the same reason he didn't go through Chuck's personal effects: he's an arrogant SOB. He was sure he'd destroyed any chance of retaliation, and he wanted to have the last laugh. He should have learned from The Magnet, but people like that don't learn.

At any rate, didn't enjoy this finale at all, which is a first for Chuck. Almost completely lacking in fun and imagination, just a hodge podge of "stuff" thrown together.
Gonna have to go back and watch S2 to remember why I loved this show.

That would have been a good series finale - Chuck & Sarah owning the BuyMore, the gang going freelance and Morgan being Intersected are more fun as notions for some indefinite, unseen future than they would be as fodder for yet more stories - so I think I'll regard it as such and ignore the show when it comes back in the fall.
Or why Chuck isn't in Gitmo.
But story logic has never been this show's strong suit.

Ok.. So I thought last week was a cliffhanger episode and completely missed it last night.. Grrr.. Oh well, something to look forward to On Demand tonight.. At least Chuck's still there, even if Dr. Who isn't (grumble grumble)...

I suppose it depends on how it's implemented. Chuck and Sarah owning the Buy more makes a certain amount of sense given the increasingly ridiculous unlikelihood that this store would continue to remain profitable given the weekly shenanigans and goings on, and removes that as a constant fridge logic concern. Morgan having an Intersect would give him a narrative function again, and provide a nice bookend to Chuck's own struggles with dealing with it back in Season 1, especially if the Intersect that Morgan downloaded is more akin to the 1.0 version that was strictly informational and not the Mary Sue machine that the 2.0 and later versions became. Keep in mind that Morgan claimed to know kung fu, but we didn't see a 'Flash' sequence, nor the usual facial expressions we've come to associate with it, so it would be totally in character for him to make a stupid boast like that, only to fall flat on his face in the first five seconds of the new season.
Most importantly, this would allow for something touched upon in this season that wasn't really followed through upon: namely Chuck's ability to function WITHOUT the Intersect as a crutch to his true abilities as a spy. Again, a sort of rewind to Season 1, but for him doing it the hard way by actually learning and applying lessons he's now equipped to handle instead of letting the magical database handle it for him. It also allows his character to become much more relatable now that he's not a walking Mary Sue/Deus Ex Machina character...
Overall, if handled right, I can see this working, as it does address most of the major flaws with Season 4 (overpowered Chuck, useless Morgan, too many secrets flying around, and other silly plot contrivances to try and make it all hang together), it all depends on how the writers choose to handle it, especially now that the whole 'masquerade' aspect of the series is pretty much blown out of the water, since all the important characters (with the exception of the BM crew) are in on the secret, now.
As long as they can avoid the tiresome trope/trap of 'Chuck and Sarah have a baby!', I think the new season can at least be a great improvement over this one.

One thing I like about Chuck, they aren't afraid to change things up in big ways! You don't see this much on shows these days where the premise changes in a show. I like that this tv show takes chances, changes things up, and moves things along at a good clip.

Remember when Al and Sam changed places at the conclusion of one of the Quantum leap seasons?
I could have done with a season of that, but they switched back in 44 minutes.
Every read Power Pack? Tiny children given super powers by space horsies to save the earth. Ever 25 issues or some some thing huge would happen and they'd trade super powerpowers by accident permanently.
Chuck doesn't need the intersect.
Were the glasses a one off, or can they all have the intersect now?

I just watched 4 seasons and 2 more episodes a month ago (I'll finish it soon).
It was weird,but they were always heading towards that Atavus stuff from at least season two. Talk about evolution, shared destiny, regression, extinction, and how they were running out of core energy...
I though what you thought for the longest time ObiWanShinobi because I was out drinking and having sex back during EFC's first run, when I should have been paying attention to the important things in life..
It's not completely cohesive, but it is plausible.
Dropping the lead character twice was odd.
Boon and Liam did really really suck though.

Even if they were reusable, not everyone is suited to having the Intersect. Remember the fiasco with the Gretas? They were highly trained but couldn't handle it.

I feel like I missed something... when did Chuck tell Vivian the truth about her father?
All in all, a good finale. Glad that Heartley is free and Vivian has turned back around. Will be interesting to see how the show goes next year... I like how they shake things up.
And yeah, that laugh at the end.... that's gotta be a tell that Stephen is still alive.
