- Great beginning to the season. Everything and everyone is in top form.

- Did they mention Die Hard at the beginning? If so, that's weird since the show supposedly takes place in the Die Hard universe.

- They made Linda Hamilton look really good. Last time I saw her, she was pretty haggard.

- Olivia Munn's legs have never looked better. I'm serious. They've never looked better. I want to see a YouTube clip of that introductory walk. Get on it folks.

- The way they reintroduced the BuyMore was brilliant. And they even put the general in charge. This show is pretty good at keeping things the same yet fresh. They even put Ellie back in the dark.

- What happened to Jeffster and Big Mike? I didn't see the opening credits and don't know if they're still on the show. Maybe they'll be recurring characters instead of weekly regulars?

- I knew Ellie would say that she's pregnant.

I'm still thinking about Yvonne's droooool. Actually everyone in the new Buy More seemed to have a nice pair of legs.

Was bouncing back and forth between an "above average" and "average" but went with the latter. It wasn't a bad episode by any means but it was little choppy and only served to give a vague outline of the season's plot arcs.

UberCastle 2.0 in the Buy More? Really? I'd have figured the government to NOT want a gigantic target painted on a civilian outlet. Even in the show's universe, this one seems to be a big WTF.

Ellie pregnant? Could that announcement have been any more predictable? I know the writers have something in mind with this, but the execution was predictable and boring to say the least.

Mom Bartowski's debut was good. Her being a super-agent and actions at the very end raised a lot of questions I want to see answered.

And I have to admit to geeking out when Dolph Lundgren's character uttered the "I must break you" line. This show knows its audience.

IMO Chuck pretty much always starts off slow and gets better as the season rolls on, so I'm not too concerned with this lackluster premiere. At least this was better than last season's snoozefest premiere.

EDIT: Just wanted to add one more thought: That was enough Chuck beefcake for the remainder of the series, thankyouverymuch producers who are apparently trying to give the ladies in the audience what they want. What's next? Morgan in a speedo for an extended scene?

They'll be back. The supporting cast won't be in every episode again this season, so we should get used to not seeing the entire gang every week. I was a bit disappointed with Chuck being forced not to tell Ellie the secret-one complaint against the show in the past was that it kept resetting itself back to zero, which is why last season was so great, Devon and Ellie weren't in the dark, Morgan getting roped into the fray. For once, I'm happy with the super spoilerhog promos during the end credits! I won't have to scowl for a week over what happens between them (Chuck and Ellie).

Loved it! Sure, they were some weak spots. But like last season, the show needed to set up the main characters again after wrapping up what could have been their final episode last season. But there were a lot of things to like. Linda Hamilton. Dolph Lungren. Harry Dean Stanton. The General's no taking no and giving Chuck the shaft. The camera angle going up Sarah's skirt. "I must break you." All cool. And you just know that when Chuck and his mom see each other we are going to hear the line "Come with me if you want to live."

But even with all that, I gave the episode a Big Mike instead of an Awesome. Why? Well, there was no Awesome in the episode for one thing. And no Jeff, Lester or Big Mike. You know we need them back so they can reduce the efficiency of the new Buy More to proper levels. And having them in a store full of spies and spy equipment hidden about the store will no doubt bring on the hilarity.
