This is part one of the two-hour Chuck season three finale airing on Monday 5/24 at 8pm. The reason for two threads is because these are really two episodes and I am allowing for the chance to rate them separately.

The Ring closes in on Chuck and the team - and their families.

And given the title, I'd put money on someone getting a footlong at some point in the episode.

I just this minute finished watching it, and I'll be onto ep. 19 after I post this...

Well, I've been a bit lukewarm on the show for a while - it's been good, but not great. Until now. Sweet Zombie Jeebus that was one fecking awesome episode! Everything that's great about the show was there. In spades. Best episode of Chuck so far, by a fecking mile.

OK, season finale, here I come...

Big Mike - liked it better than part 2 - but it would have been funnier if they'd integrated their product placement into the episode better, considering that this is an in-joke episode I've been anticipating for at least a year now, plus Brandon Routh being so mis-cast as a villain (he's too bland) drags everything down.

That was at least the third time they've described a Subway meal in full detail.

Yeah, I wanted something other than what they usually do for the Subway parody/homage/crass product placement with "Subway" in the episode title.
