I'd actually never watched a moment of Firefly until after I'd seen how awesome Adam Baldwin is :D

I didn't start watching Chuck because of Adam Baldwin, in fact I didn't even know he was in it until I decided to watch (a rerun of) the premiere episode on a whim. But finding out he was part of the cast certainly increased my enjoyment of the show. :D

As a side note, when your ad blocker blocks an ad, it actually takes longer to get past it (30 seconds of nothingness) than most of the commercials (15-20 seconds).
I'll take 30 seconds of nothingness aka stickin' it to da MAN!

Nothing against hulu, really. And being TV ads, the hulu ads aren't all that objectionable (I voluntarily watched the one about the Russian hacker because it was genuinely entertaining.) Just psychic vengeance against the TrekBBS garbage everyone has to put up with. :rommie:

Regarding the pill, still, it's a minor thing at best for the Ring. It's only "super spy" use is for Chuck, and only because has no psychological training or real experience.
It's a major element of what appears to be emerging as the major dramatic tension this season, namely Can Chuck Stay Chuck? Or will he be corrupted by the corruptiveness of being a spy? That's a good substitute for romantic angst with Sarah, since Sarah is still in the middle of that dramatic tension as well. She keeps warning Chuck to "stay pure" because it's "too late" for her. The outcome of the conflict no doubt will be that both Sarah and Chuck escape, and run off together, ta dah, the end. They even set up a happy ending for Casey, what with him having a ready made family all convenienty prepped for him. He can hem and haw all he wants, but we know how his story ends, too.

But before Chuck can run off with Sarah for the happy series ending, he needs to fall even further. Since there will probably be one more season at least, I expect the season finale to be Chuck taking the pill/going off the deep end/supposedly "for good."
