Nicely done. Awesome makes a great foil for Chuck even if the humor demands that Awesome be portrayed as unrealistically stupid. Has he been living in a cave not to know that the throat-chop sign means SHUT UP not AND THEN SAY YOU CUT OFF THE BEAR'S HEAD?

Forgot to mention: Whatever the hell it was Chuck uttered in Thai was barely recognizable as Thai. Then again, what the woman said wasn't much better.

I think the natural assumption is that the audience doesn't understand foreign languages. I think that assumption is usually correct.

I know. It's just so rare to hear someone speak Thai on American TV (as opposed to Japanese, Chinese or Korean) that it was novel to me.

Now I know how those Koreans watching Lost episodes centered around Sun and Jin must feel.

I was wondering the same thing. The guy's Wiki entry says he was raised in Iowa before moving to Los Angeles with no mention of living abroad.

Really? Why? He doesn't sound to me like he's surpressing an accent of any kind. That's usually how they give themselves away (like the guy who played the older brother on Prison Break.)

I don't know for some reason I think back to Singer's search for a Superman and all the casting and stuff and I thought he picked an unknown from Australia... I never paid any attention to the guy before nor since Superman so I guess I never bothered to find out that was wrong

I'm glad they have Chuck being more in touch with his spy side, being more comfortable with it.

And I didn't know Routh was going to be in this ! I like him.
But I kept expecting him to rip his shirt and expose the Superman suit

You probably got it mixed up becasue they filmed Superman Returns in Australia.

From what I understood, she was there to confirm Shaw is dead and probably report her superiors about it.
