Welcome to another Monday and another new episode of Chuck. Tonight we see the 21st episode of the season, so I believe we only have one more left after this. Hopefully word of a confirmed third season will be coming soon. My fingers are crossed.

First, we have the NBC official tease for the episode:
Sarah and Chuck risk everything to find Chuck's father; Emmett grabs the helm of Buy More.

And next is IMDB.com. I may not include this one again given the name they attempt to brand the Chuck collective with.
Casey is ordered to pursue Chuck and Sarah, who have gone rogue in order to rescue Chuck's father. Morgan's screw-up makes him Public Enemy #1 among the Buy Morons.

I think they're really setting it up so this next one very well could be a series finale if it comes to that. They fricking better. If I don't have my Charah conclusion I'll go mad. Mad I says!

Great episode. Could have been suitable series finale if the Chevy Chase bit at the end had been chopped.

Looking forward to next week and a series pickup for next season.

Read this and get back to us.

If, in two weeks, that is the last episode of the show to ever air, it will be one of the least satisfying finales of all time. Chris Fedak, the guy who created the show, said people will set their living rooms on fire.
Oh man, that figures. After a really satisfying wrap-up this episode it sounds like we're going to get a cliffhanger next week.

I know it doesn't mean much, but NBC advertised next week's episode as the SEASON finale and not the series finale. Gotta have hope, right? :techman:

This episode marks the third "excellent" in a row I've given the show. I liked that Awesome didn't instantly go into awesome mode upon learning Chuck was a spy. He was understandably shocked hearing the news--a nice little touch of realism in a show that really doesn't focus on it. The Casey turn was decent too...I could almost buy it although it was out of character for him.

As others have noted, this very well could have been the series finale with the Roarke bit at the end excised. Maybe it'll be kind of like Enterprise, which ended with "Terra Prime". :)

Grrrr. God damn it.

Chuck has never been more than light entertainment so it really doesn't matter what kind of ending we get next week. Imagine whatever ending you like :techman:

I think mine involves Sarah walking out of the motel bathroom in her undies.

A cliffhanger? Really?

Oh well. The Terminator ending worked well for me, for what it was... and if Chuck ends in the same way, I suppose I could be happy with it. But purposely ending on an absurd cliffhanger just to try to trigger a pick up? I was done with that ever since Space: Above and Beyond did it way back when.

BY FAR the best episode of the series ever!! Jut a ton of good stuff there. I'll REALLY be pissed if they cancel this show.

I'm not gonna read any of the other posts in case someone was kind enough to post a spoiler.

Anyway, what can I say. Honestly, I'm not sure I can put into words how much I adore this show. For the last couple of weeks, I've been thinking that there's no way they can top the episode I just watched and damn, somehow they manage. This week's ep was just... mind-blowingly awesome. Hot damn that was an entertaining hour of TV.

Bring on the finale!

Oh, and Yvonne in that blue dress at the end... hot-fuckin'-damn.

This has just been a great season. I am waiting for the finale with a little bit of apprehension.

This show, and these last few episodes in particular, has reached a whole new level of awesome that awesome simply cannot adequately describe it. It is so awesome.

The episode is online now for those who may have missed it.

Another prediction from the thread came true! Awesome now knows Chuck's secret identity! Kudos to the person who first posted the prediction. And kudos to the writers for taking what was a prediction, at least for us, and having the performance and story beat both hit out of the park. That was some quality television.

I am so looking forward to next week.

I'm glad Awesome took a shot at Casey. It wouldn't have been in his character not to.

I loved the reaction. Always one step from accidentally telling Ellie, but knowing he shouldn't't.
