It's Monday!

And it is time to look forward to another new episode of the most consistently awesome show on television, Chuck! The first comedy since M*A*S*H that has made me look forward to Mondays.

Last week has left our cast in a mostly happy place. Chuck and Sarah holding hands, Anna and Morgan back together, and Big Mike getting it on with Mrs. Grimes (Morgan's mom from the week before, the episode that was originally supposed to air after the one aired last week). What will happen next? Which relationship will hit the skids first? How many times will Casey groan and roll his eyes? Tune in and see!

Chuck's jealous when Sarah is assigned to seduce an attractive agent; Jeff and Lester search for the ultimate Buy More babe. SI Swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker guest stars.

I will see you all after Chuck and Heroes airs here on the west coast. Enjoy!

Dagnabit. My Charah heart is breaking. Hopefully this is just a temporary setback. My God, Chuck has to be the most cockblocked guy on Earth. Granted, alot of it is his own fault but still.

Hopefully that rumored Charah hookup in the season finale is true.

I'm tired of the incredible disappearing Anna. Can't Lester and Jeff leave town for over 6 episodes at least once? It's like, now that they've shipped her with Morgan, she is of no further use, that she can't be a character on her own...:scream:

Yeah. Let Teh Anna play. They seem to be clueless as to what to do with her. She basically been used as a foil for Morgan, with little to no thought given to her actual character. What they should do is examine her bi-sexuality. Hilarity will ensue. Or at least boners.

And is it just me or are Jeff and Lester becoming The Jay and Silent Bob of Chuck?

I used to love this show... but it is becoming a big fucking bore. How many times do they expect us to watch the same fucking episode??

I don't get all the Anna love on here. She's certainly less annoying than Jeff and Lester, but she's still not terribly interesting. I just don't see a lot of potential for wacky stories with her like the other BuyMore guys.

I'm still enjoying it, but I agree the writers need to shake things up a bit. Maybe it's time to let Morgan and Ellie in on Chuck's secret, so we can get away from the tired relationship talks and give these characters some new and interesting ways to play off each other.

Chuck can still be in love with Sara, of course, but at least the boyfriend/girlfriend charade could be put to rest, for the most part. I know I'd definitely like to see Ellie do more than lounge around the house and give sisterly advice to Chuck.

Just when you think the show might move on to something other than Chuck loves Sarah, they retcon their reboot and go running back to the same premise.

Even Leonard on The Big Bang Theory gave up the hot blond girl. :p

Did I jinx this show with my OP for this thread? Did we really need a Bryce Larkin 2.0? Didn't we go through this story earlier this season?

It seems to me that this episode (and possibly the next given next week's preview) was done actually twice already this season. (The second time was with Chuck and Sarah in opposite positions, and Jill was in Bryce's) Enough already! It is time for Chuck to get devious and go after bedding the girl he's been after the last two years. It is time he got her in the sack, if only to better sell their covers. I mean, the guy gets jack squat and what does he have to put up with? Constant danger, being sent on covert missions, no pay, plus he still has to work at the Buy More and live with his sister! And what does he have to look forward when this is eventually all over? A bullet between the eyes by his ol' pal Casey. Oh, come on! Sarah needs to "thank" him for his service to his country.

Sorry, but this was the most uninspired episode this show has had all season. They were coasting. And they coasted right down to an Average rating from me. It would have been worse, but they DID have Yvonne in her bra and panties. So I gave them credit for that. I hope we get a better resolution for this 2-parter and Bryce 2.0 meets a grisly end.

To quote Jake from Booty Call, "You've got to let the p***y marinate." However if you let something marinate too long, it ends up tasting like shit. That's the problem here. They've run out of reasons(because eventually you're going to) to keep them apart, so they're stalling and recycling. Bond Boy is just Bryce 2.0. Just like Jill was Sandwich Girl 2.0. I think they're scared if they get them together the fun and angst and chemistry will be lost. I couldn't disagree more. I think they have a chance here to show a really cool, interesting relationship if they want to.

Most of the fans on all the boards hated this episode. Of course most fans are rabid, crazed, insane Chuck/Sarah shippers. If you think I'm bad, you should check out the boards on NBC.com. It was written by one of their weakest writers, for one. Chuck was acting like child for another. The hope is that Chuck will man up and go fight for her. Because the creators have all but promised the long awaited hook up at the end of this season, it appears that this is what they are setting up. If nothing comes of this, you're gonna have some really pissed off fans.

Luckily it did slightly better ratings-wise then it did last week, which is good I guess. Like I've said, when Chuck is allowed to run uninterrupted week after week it always starts to build. If NBC would let them do that, they'd have consistently around 8 million viewers at least.

I'm getting REALLY tired of the Chuck angst over Sara. It's getting on my nerves to no end. Give Chuck SOMEONE ELSE to have a LONG TERM ARC with as a true love interest. You can always coem back to Chuck - Sara later. I'm tired of this. Quite frankly i find it just as annoying as the people who hate the Clark - Lana stuff (which I admittedly liked) in Smallville. It's getting way too old way too fast.

Bah.. I couldn't disagree more. They need to MOVE AWAY from a Chuck - Sara pairing.

Yeah. It was funny and cute at first. But now the angst is just getting too overbearing and we need something new. Either hook em up or drop it completely. And if they do the later, you'll have alot of pissed off fans.

They tried with Sandwich Girl and Jill. And I loved Sandwich Girl. I wish they could have kept her around longer. Both of those were cut short for a very good reason. Sarah is Chuck's bodyguard and her cover requires that she pose as his girlfriend. The Government's only allowing him to walk freely because he's got NSA and CIA operatives watching his every move. If he were to be after someone else, it would compromise her and his cover. That's why he broke up with Lou. That, and he'd have to constantly explain why he's always hanging out with his ex. Unless he found someone really dumb who didn't question that, he'd have to tell them the truth or break up with them. And telling them the truth is not an option. So really, his romantic options are pretty limited.

And that's not counting that he can't ever get with Sarah because that would comprimise her positon as his bodyguard and they'd ship her out of there ASAP and he'd never see her again. And once this mission is over, they really are going to ship her out of there ASAP and he'll never see her again. Which is why she was always shooting him down in the first season.

So like I said, most cockblocked guy on Earth.

Oh, I don't think we've gotten to that point yet. Sarah and Chuck are both great characters with good actors behind them for one thing, unlike Clark and Lana. And from the spoilers I've heard, this won't go on for much longer. Suppossedly they are going to hook up at some point later this season. There will be some obsticles(CIA is gonna try and pull her out of there) but the creators promised it will have a sort of conclusion in the finale. My guess is that the second wedding that was hinted at will be Sarah and Chucks, as they convince their bosses it will be good for the cover. Of course by that point, for them it won't really be a cover anymore.

I have heard something to that effect as well. The show runners were on Newsarama saying that we can expect Tricia Helfer coming in to attempt to replace Sarah. You gotta give the NSA credit for taste in blonds! But it only makes sense that a young couple together for a couple of years should be getting married. Particularly given the time they have to spend together as well as the relatively positive way their trial run at it went a few episodes ago (aside from being in a Fulcrum-infested neighborhood that is). Plus, Chuck deserves something for his being drafted into being the living Intersect.

Ya that sounds like they're actually going to be shaking things up hopefully. I hear Casey's going to be developing quite the crush on her.

The second wedding that was teased will probably end up being Morgan and Anna or Big Mike and Morgan's mom. But if it is Chuck and Sarah, that would be all types of win.

I liked this week simply for the Jeffster action. I saw some of the casting room stuff at Wondercon, but it still cracked me up!

Above Average, not quite Awesome, only because the Chuck-Sarah Ping-Pong Olympics are getting old. Sadly, that's what this show is about, right? :rommie:

It's gotta be Jeff and Lester. They can find out without disturbing the premise because who'd believe them? Still, Chuck would have his hands full stopping Casey from whacking Jeffster, just to be on the safe side...

Yknow what I'd like to see? Sarah just 'splain things to Chuck: they can't have a real relationship because of their situation. They can't have casual, no-strings sex because they are genuinely in love with each other (which I certainly hope they both know about themselves and about each other by now, or they are four-star lunkheads).

So what's left? Find random other people to have casual, no-strings sex with. Isn't that what Sarah's interest in Superspy boils down to? She's not going to fall in love with him, is she? If Chuck's her type, how could Superspy be? It would make just as much sense for her to fall in love with Casey.

The premise of the show is Chuck Loves Sarah. You can't get rid of a show's premise - everything else, yeah, but the premise is kinda it. On Smallville, the premise isn't really Clark Loves Lana, it's more like Superboy Has to Keep His Identity Secret. Which is why Lana becomes wonderfully disposable...

I am glad to see finally this week they have changed the plot up a bit and have offered us some twists.
