I was surprised not to see a thread on last nights second season premiere of Chuck. So I made one myself. I posted here in the Sci Fi & Fantasy forum because, well, the blatant nerd gratification contained in this series is pure fantasy.
Seeing this episode was like seeing an old friend again after a long absence. I kinda missed the guy. The show opened with a quick reestablishing of their status quo while Chuck was being held out of an open window by his ankles by actor Michael Clarke Duncan of movies The Green Mile, Armageddon, and Daredevil. After a little bit of spy stuff the opening credits rolled with a notable change from last season: the cast members that play Chuck's fellow BuyMore employees have been added, including their own animations. I won't go into more for fear of spoiling the episode for those that missed it. If you did miss it, you can still watch it here: http://www.nbc.com/Chuck/
I will say this though: Morgan's solution to the task Chuck set for him this episode had me laughing so hard I nearly shit myself. That one bit alone is worth the 42 minutes of watching the episode.
I rated this episode an Awesome. Great way to open the season running, picking right up from last season's strike shortened run. I will be watching this week after week.
Thoughts?
