They should release these DS games for the Wii virtual console for those of us who don't want to play games on a tiny screen.

In other words, I'm jealous but don't actually plan to buy a DS just for this game.

I think it's been confirmed as an "enhanced port" rather than a FF3/4-like remake... which is fine by me. I'd rather have the sprite based stuff than a 3D thing.

They'd better release it in Europe this time. I had to wait for a PC emulator before I could play this masterpiece. I don't understand why the PS1 Final Fantasy Chronicles omitted it for the PAL release.

Well the DS is region free so even if they don't you shouldn't have a problem playing it this time.

According to GAF, the game will feature touchscreen/dual screen support, new dungeons and multiplayer. Whatever... I'm just glad that Square has acknowledged the game's existence.

Why would Square Enix release an $8 version on the virtual console when they can sell the DS version for $30-40.

Or we could just forget Chrono Cross ever happened and everyone would be happier for it.

We can't forget the soundtrack though.

I honestly can't decide if I love the CT soundtrack more than the CC soundtrack.

The Jazz Fusion CT soundtrack is pretty fucking awesome though.
