i'm not sure why this is addressed to just the authors. i would kind of be surprised if they joined in on a thread on who they wished would do the next novelization and if they had some inside information they are probably not supposed to reveal that. but everyone else who posts here probably has scads of opinions on the matter.

What the heck am *I* doing in the title of this thread? Unless Dayton or about 120 other more deserving actual novelists changed their first names. I have about 10,000 published words. Three short stories. That's the extent of my Trek fiction. (Other Trek stuff doesn't count here).
