There's only like 5-6 clips for these talk shows to choose from, so that's why it was a clip we've already seen.

That`s Robert Pine. He was also in an episode of ST: Voyager. Imdb says it was the episode, `The Chute`.

Letterman used to be a lot worse at feigning interest if he didn't like something. I think it went very well. So did Quinto.

In any interviews of Pine and Quinto I've seen, they carry themselves very well and are convey intelligence. (They speak in sentences!) They seem good for Trek off camera. Hope the success of this film and the bump it's going to give their careers ultimately doesn't price them out of Star Trek or make them think they've grown away from it.

Good interview. Thought quinto played along very well with the "clip from the film", and he comes across as a very personable guy.
