Choose One

If you had to select ONE (and only One)

But I narrowed it down to these two

:shifty: :shifty: :shifty:

"The Trouble With Tribbles" TOS

Nothing screams STAR TREK quite like that entire episode.

Word for word, I thought the same thing. The Trouble With Tribbles screams STAR TREK I mean, but then I realised that the episode is pretty much an outlier in TOS...

1. It's the most overt comedy, going so far as to veer into slapstick.

2. The cast are playing into the comedy harder than ever before and they never lean that far into it again until STIV.

3. I think nobody is killed? No redshirt deaths...

Somehow I agree with you though. The Trouble With Tribbles does just scream STAR TREK for some reason, even though it's a few steps removed from being typical Star Trek.

The Cage.

Kor

Everything I said above about The Trouble With Tribbles being both an outlier, yet somehow so Star Trek also applies to The Cage. Good choice.

The City at the Edge of Forever for TOS. It was a fantastic episode, and I don't think it has been topped.
