Chocolate Bunnies....

Do you prefer you chocolate easter bunny to be solid or hollow? Personally, I'm a big hollow bunny supporter.

Solid!

The first time I got a hollow Easter bunny, I felt like I got totally ripped off.

Although, to be fair, I definitely prefer Cadburry eggs to the bunnies.

QFT!

And I always feel like chocolate of the hollow ones has been sitting around longer. Probably just my imagination, but it always seems like that to me.

They still make those things? It's been a long time since my kids were little.

Why would they stop? Chocolate is best enjoyed in bunny form. Stopping the manufacture of chocolate bunnies would be like melting the the Liberty Bell down for paperweights. It would be crime against humankind.

It depends on the size of the bunny. Little bunnies should always be solid. Large bunnies should be hollow.

And Cadbury cream eggs are the best!

Solid. A hollow chocolate bunny is nothing but a tease. But I'll still eat it, of course. ;)

I saw an Easter chocolate in the shape of the U.S.S. Defiant in a store yesterday. I was seriously tempted to buy one. I may yet...

I'll take either..

All I want is to be able to rip off the ears.

My bunnies must be solid. I feel like I've been defrauded when I get a hollow one.

That said, no bunny comes close to the goodness that is the Cadbury Creme Egg.

Just for the sake of asking....do you remember what store this was?

It was a Shoppers Drug Mart. There's a whole bunch of them in Canada -- it's a pretty big chain up here, but I don't think they have any locations in the U.S.

I'm sure there'll be other stores selling Star Trek-themed chocolates, though. ;)

I want one of those!!!

I like my bunnies solid. Lindt makes good little bunnies. And I like to eat them head first.

Solid. I mean, it's chocolate! Ergo more chocolate is good.

The hollow chocolate bunny I like is the kind where the void is full of something like creamy goodness or something.

But, no, solid chocolate bunny or nothing.

I also like the big hollow bunnies. They are fun to devour. Ears first, always. The solid ones are oookaaay, if they are small and have the little candy eye. I did get the privilege of trying a Lindt one once. Yum.

As far as the Cadbury eggs, I find them unappealing. Something about eating an egg that looks like raw egg on the inside...just a turn off. Maybe if they made it appear hard-boiled?

^When they get old and stale, the stuff on the inside solidifies. Looks kinda like a hard-boiled egg. So you could just buy them and wait until they expire.

Let one sit around (even in the foil wrapper) for a couple of months. The filling gets pretty dry. Still good stuff, though.

I prefer them when they're "fresh" though.

Hmmm. I think I have some cadburys laying around my desk here somewhere from last year...

Last spring, I kept having to buy Cadbury eggs every few days because I would eat them all. I can't wait to start buying them again!
