I’m loving the comic book series CHEW with its growing band of wacky characters and its humor which varies between off-beat and morbid. I especially love the story element. I recently re-read the first five issues after reading issues #11-15 and I just realized how heavily connected the writers have made the story. I can’t even count off the top of my head the number of times I come across something that is presented as a minor piece of the story only to discover later on how much tied it is to the overall story. And these are the only FIRST 15 ISSUES! At this point, I’m considering Chew to be one of my favorite graphic novel series right up there with Preacher and Y: The Last Man.
