Is she a full lieutenant or Lt jg? Picard never seemed to be quick to promote even near exceptional officers.

In her first appearance "Greater Than the Sum", she was a Lieutenant, junior grade, but by "Destiny" she was a full Lieutenant. As of the most recent story "Hearts and Minds", I do not believe she's made Lieutenant Commander; in fact, if I'm not mistaken, the only Lieutenant Commanders on Enterprise in 2386 are deputy chief engineer Taurik and watch officer (no first name yet) Havers - everybody else is either a Commander (Worf, La Forge, and Dr. Crusher) or a Lieutenant (Elfiki, Šmrhová, and Counselor Hegol)/Glinn (Dygan).
