Characters you like that everyone else hates

I don't hate Jar Jar Binks. I don't love him either but I can think of a few other characters whom I dislike a lot more.

Doggett and Reyes from the X Files. A lot of fans didn't really like them, but I thought that they were ok. Reyes now though, hell no. Not after the character assassination that she went through.

I like Doggett. Season 8 was a nice change up for the show to get a second wind. Season 9, on the other hand...

I don't hate Jar Jar Binks. I don't love him either but I can think of a few other characters whom I dislike a lot more.

I'll second that. He was the best part of the prequel films.

I liked Neelix. I found him fun. I did not understand the hate for him.

I also love Joffrey in GoT, him and Ramsay are two of my favourite characters! I don't really get why people give you weird looks for that either, I mean yeah I wouldn't want to go hang out with them or them be my friends, but I'm just talking about watching them onscreen. I don't think most people would wanna spend quality time with Darth Vader either but he's probably one of the most famous pop culture characters of all time.
Everyone likes a good villain, just how Khan Singh or the Borg Queen stand out in the Trek movies. Alan Rickman in Die Hard, Arnie in T1 and the T-1000 in T2, Hannibal Lecter, Roy Batty, etc etc

I frickin loved it whenever those two were onsceen in GoT

Yea it was, minus a few issues. I liked season 9 too.

I quite liked Wesley. I was more irritated by the stupidity of the adults in episodes like Datalore and The Game, rather than the precocious Wesley.
I quite liked Kes. I think there would have been room on Voyager for both her and Seven. I never cared for the EMH either, so when VOY became all about Seven and the EMH, I pretty much lost interest.

 

[Velocity]

I liked the much maligned Ruby Rhod in the Fifth Element.
