Tom Cruise seems pretty flakey but a few minutes on screen and I totally forget all that gossip crap I've read about him and I just get drawn into whatever he's doing. His portrayal of Vince the Hitman in Collateral for example, just fuckin' great stuff.
Mel Gibson. He's turned out to be a major screwball, but damned it I don't still find Mad Max and Martin Riggs filled with awesome.
And most of his other movies too, with the exception of the more recent ones.

Matt Damon's Jason Bourne. OMG, how I despise Matt Damon...but he's great as Bourne. He was also really great in The Departed...but, f*ck I can't stand him.

One of her brief shining moments.
Her (I guess you would call it this) Oscar acceptance speech several years ago really, REALLY turned me off. Up until that point, I really liked her. I even thought I had kind of warmed back up to her a bit but there have been some other things (interviews, etc.) that I just can't help to get the feeling that she is a really snotty bitch.
It has no bearing on enjoying movies she's in but I roll my eyes almost every time I see her.
.....she's not even that pretty, although for some reason people carry on about that.

I definitely have to say that Sulu is not an attention whore who thinks he's greater than he actually is.
I've never had a good con experience with Koenig. He's been rude...acts like he'd rather be anywhere but at a con, etc. Every bit as bad as Harlan Ellison.
I wish I had a better report to give you...

My wife ran into him in line at the gift shop at the Clinton Library and he was very nice to her and friendly when she and my kids (Sadly, I wasn't there for the occasion) went to say "hi" to him...
I can't get the point where i can even watch a movie with him in it let alone enjoy his acting abilities.
Tom Cruise is a complete flake, so bad of one his recent antics have retroactively sullied his past performances.

Most characters played by Tom Cruise. He really does seem like a buffoon in real life. But he just owned his part in Tropic Thunder! *giggles just thinking about it*
