Characters you’d like to see again...

Arpy

Vice Admiral
Admiral
I just read in the TNG form that actor Billy Campbell is coming back as TNG Season 2’s “the outrageous” Okona in a guest spot on Prodigy.

What characters (major or minor) would you maybe like to see again?

(Obviously we’d all like to see new ones and minimize “small-universe syndrome,” but especially in comedies like Lower Decks we can afford to have some fun.”)

I always wondered whatever happened to DS9 Season 1’s Mullibok after Kira forcibly beamed him up with her. Did he never speak with her again and die a broken man...did they become pen pals...what???

Not sure I'd want to see Mullibok again. I have too good an idea how he ended up. Alive, but adrift. Needs met, but existing rather than living. In other words, my life, post-Covid19.

I'd like to see what happened with Ferenginar... their society was basically upended by Zek's massive reforms, making them more like the Federation than the evil profiteers we remember them as.

Some characters we could get by with references. Mention Jake Sisko's latest book, for instance (maybe Tom Paris is adapting it into a holonovel). The O'Brien family, where are they now? Did Harry's Starfleet career survive Janeway's effort to demolish it? And did Ro Laren and Tom Riker escape the Maquis purge? Maybe Tom joined the Fenris Rangers, and Seven could mention him.

Admiral of the week. Every time a Captain deals with the upper brass it is someone different. A more stable upper command structure would be nice.

Yeah, it would be cool to see familiar admirals again without them being eeeeeevil. Just doing their jobs in their regions/departments.

One of my favorites was Fleet Admiral Shanthi and she’s a black woman with an accent to boot.

Nigerian Admirals. I could listen to that aaaall day. Nothing, else just the Admiral talking.

The actor is American from Arkansas

But she was using a fake accent for the role, to imply that Shanthi was of African extraction. She spoke very, very, very... slowly... so it seems she was really struggling to put on the accent and not break it.

Weren’t both Uhura and La Forge from future African nations? I love stuff like that — when they make future Earth different. I want to see Picard’s friend Louis’s New Atlantis in the Atlantic and TMP novelization’s Atlantropa in the Mediterranean too.
