Characters meeting each other

So many of the characters in all of Trek would be very interesting if thrown in a room together. That being said, I've chucked all deaths and lifespans and timelines out the window.

Kira and Tasha Yar come to mind. Both faced traumatic childhoods and brought themselves up from the ashes. They'd be an interesting force.

Bones and the EMH would be hilarious, especially if the latter started dropping his "I'm a doctor, not a [insert occupation here]" lines. Both captains would be so done.

Data and Seven. It'd be a very structured, planned meeting with them comparing notes on what it means to be human. Both have struggled with finding/discovering their humanity.

I think Garak and Picard would be an interesting combo.l could see Garak taking a few sarcastic stabs at Picard when Picard is expounding on some ethical reasons for doing or not doing something and I would love to see how Picard responded to that. Could be an interesting discussion.

(I've heard they've met in one of the novels. But still, I'd like to see it on screen).

Kirk meeting Picard in GENERATIONS was painfully awkward. Especially, when they trotted out on horseback and The Shat's ball-slapping nag has its hooves splaying out under his hefty weight ...

I think she'd likely tell him to learn to adapt. Perhaps she'd tell him how her Borg upbringing gave her an ordered mind that was a source of strength that helped her to more easily adapt to living among humans again. I think she might enjoy talking with Hugh and comparing notes with him.

I think it would, especially after Picard's experience as a prisoner of the Cardassians.

Okay, here's one that involves more than two people:

Tom and Harry meet Miles and Julian, and have an interesting time trying out each other's favorite holodeck programs. I daresay that Tom and Harry might have an easier time of kayaking than Miles and Julian would have of using their imaginations to get through a chapter of Captain Proton. In the meantime, B'Elanna and Keiko compare notes on what it's like to be married to guys who insist on having weird hobbies.

And then how about an obvious one: Janeway and Kirk. She always had her nose in the air about how Kirk's actions wouldn't be allowed "in our day"... but Kirk would (once he knew about all the things she did in the Delta Quadrant) point out that they really weren't that different, after all. There are plenty of situations where each of them would have done the same thing (or close to the same thing).
