Character Options' 'Classic Who Figures' wave 1.

What, you don't want Obama to beat Dick Cheney?
no one can ever truly defeat Dick Cheney, the force is to strong in him, and his pull to the dark side to great, not even Obama is pure (free of evil) enough to defeat Cheny.

The only person who can ride the world of Cheny is the Devil, when he takes Cheny back to hell.

And, just to post on topic... ;)

For myself, I'll be getting them. The Blue Colin and the First and Second Doctor two figure sets but NOT the b&w exclusives. I'd rather get my Second Doctor as a single since I already have the Classic Cybermen on pre-order but I don't mind the First Doctor/Supreme Dalek combo.

To console myself while waiting and because I had to get something now... I placed an order for two Time Lord figures last week. Thinking of painting one of them.

Nice! I got one of those. What colors are you going for? Gold Usher? ;)

Hi guys and gals.

Sorry, been away to good ol' New York for the past week. And speaking of Comic Con - New York, no i didnt go, i wanted to sooooo much but we didnt have the time to drop in. :(

I did however do the Rockefella Centre, WTC site, and...

This is way better than any Comic Con...

The Ghostbusters fire house. :techman::drool::cool:

Anyway, that aside, i went into the Forbidden Planet store in the city and found quite a few Who figures, but they were old ones, mainly seasons 2,3 and part of 4. Didnt see any classic who figures or any special gift packs. Just a few doctors and daleks and a few companions. :( They didnt even have any in Toys R Us in Times Square, which was even more surprising as they have EVERYTHING toy wise you could want.

Although, i havnt pre-ordered anything yet, but the new figures look awsome, not sure if i would get the exclusive black and white versions of One and Two, but the alternate Real Time costume for Bakers Six looks brilliant.

I actually haven't decided yet. Probably either blue or black. Likely black though.

Right now I'm just messing about with foam board and matte board, building a classic console room. That's... fun. With all the variations from Doctor to Doctor, season to season, I'm just trying to decide which to base mine on.

The original configuration, or the rebuilt Pertwee era configuration would be my choice.

I would personally like the last version seen in the Classic Series.

Well, the console itself is going to be based on the Tom Baker era (with the black paint on the base).

The walls... I'm likely going with four rows of roundels. It's probably the easiest. I'd thought of two the three-two-three that was used at one point but decided against it.

Going with 5" scale. Since CO aren't making a Classic TARDIS, well, I'll just have to make my own.

Of course the royal pain is going to be cutting out all those circular holes in the foam board. I've punched 1" holes in a plastic stencil sheet and now need to use that stencil to carefully cutting the holes into the foam board with an exacto knife. Tedious work indeed. ;)
