"Chaos" CIA drama for midseason on CBS

The network and producing studio 20th Century Fox TV just closed a deal for a 13-episode order to the Brett Ratner-directed pilot.
a midseason series order at CBS.

Chaos revolves around a group of rogue CIA operatives led by Rick Martinez, who is played by Freddy Rodriguez, combating bureaucratic gridlock, rampant incompetence and political infighting. Without a Trace alum Eric Close has also signed onto the drama pilot.
Brett Ratner directed drama pilot Chaos for Fox.

Out Of My Vulcan Mind first mentioned the show back in May. I guess CBS had to jump on the spy drama bandwagon after all.
 
Wow. I can't recall ever seeing an absolutely stone cold dead show suddenly brought back to life like that.

Good, because I don't much care for Covert Affair's fluffy approach to CIA workplace comedy. Let's hope Chaos will have some teeth. Oh right, it's on CBS. Well, at least we can expect lots of gore. :rommie:

I think Freddy Rodriguez can carry a show. Glad to see I'll have a chance to find out.

I think we were yakkin' about it before May...sometime between Feb and May each year, all the new shows with a hope of a pickup start to be discussed. Chaos was a prominent member of the pack during that time frame iirc.
