If you truly believe there's no God and that He's nothing more than an imaginary sky being, then you must believe that the devil and his demons aren't real as well. I know the devil's greatest trick is to convince the world he doesn't exist; but if he tried to make it as an illusionist, he'd have a short career because I have witnessed scientific proof that demons are real; and I have even witnessed the proof that God is real as well. Normally, I wouldn't recommend this because it's a very dangerous thing to do; but since atheists will have a meeting with the devil eventually unless they accept the reality, they can try it now if they have enough money because all they have to do is go to any Wal-Mart or Target and get a Ouija board for about $20. Ask it a question you don't know the answer to like where a certain item is that you lost. After you get your response, ask why. If it responds to that ask why again and keep repeating why questions to every response. If nothing much happens the first day, repeat the same thing the next day; and keep doing that stunt everyday. You'll probably eventually get the demon inside it riled enough to start making strange things happen.

As for the proof I witnessed, there was one time at a summer camp when I was in my teens when a girl went to pray at the altar; and when she tried to pray out loud, she found out she couldn't and she had been messing with at least one of those things I had mentioned; and as fellow teens were praying with her, I even heard growls that could not be made by any human; and there were no wild creatures within hearing range. Can any atheists explain that? As for the proof for the reality of God, several teens tried to tell the devil he had no right; and finally one of the camp staff members told everyone to get back and was able to exorcise the demon out of her through prayer; and after that I couldn't hear any growls anymore. With all due respect, I find it very irritating when an atheists tells me that God is not real because I heard the solid proof with my own ears; and He is so real. If you don't believe this event ever happened, I can even give you the girl's name and the name of the camp for you to try to google and ask about. It's camp Manville; and the girl's name was Randi Hendricks or Hendrickson or something like that; and her dad was an evangelist, so you might be able to google him. The reason that stunt with a Ouija board wouldn't be a good idea is because from what I heard, possession is not something that someone would want to experience first hand.

Why would I need to pay $20 for a Ouija board in order to contact Satan, when I can just pray to him for free?

Because that's not how it works with God. The devil had his chance in heaven before he got any ideas about trying to establish a kingdom greater than God, so he was cast out of heaven. It's found in the book of Isaiah somewhere.

I can contact Satan for free. Seriously, I can do it right now and bring the Dread Lord of Darkness right into my heart without any effort whatsoever. Just think how wonderful it would be to have that obsidian soul, ageless and boundless, permeating the very fabric of my being, infusing me with glorious power, giving me the great freedom to speak in his name, and to his greater glory. The righteousness of it would be palpable, the intense eroticism of his spirit filling me until I am satisfied, thrusting deeply into the very core of my inner self. It just makes me want to praise Him, to be honest. So Satan will do it for free if you ask. What does Jesus charge if you want to talk to him?

Nuttin' honey. You can ask Him into your heart for free. With respect, if you're not bothered by the idea of joining the devil forever in a lake of fire, then you can join him if you think that's a great glory. Unfortunately getting the Lord to tell you where something is right away when it turns up missing is a different matter, but if you pray and wait, the item might turn up eventually if you're patient.

Oh, there's no lake of fire. That's nothing but pure propaganda. If anything, Lucifer son of Morning Star is the Oracle that speaks only the truth. The god of the Bible is a petty tyrant who abuses his children, while Satan offers them sweet succor from that brutality. Whereas the god of the Bible demands fealty and servitude, Satan asks only for us to be ourselves. I am not threatened with death, I am not intimidated into loyalty in exchange for some bait and switch reward that can be revoked at any moment for any reason. The only reason you believe otherwise is because you were conditioned to believe that way. God took Satan's honesty and twisted it to his own means. It was god who placed the forbidden fruit in the garden, and it was god who struck his children in that moment of fury. Lucifer has stood, and continues to stand on the side of humanity, letting them guide themselves as they see fit, rather than being a petty, jealous, vengeful creature who proclaims itself a supreme deity yet cannot even tolerate the most minor of human imperfections. Shameful.

Our entire image of Hell comes from Dante's Inferno, and a lot of our ideas of Lucifer from various mythological figures mashed together to create him, influenced again by a fictional story in the form of Paradise Lost.

The Bible mentions next to nothing about him other than gambling with God on his bored days and telling Jesus to lighten up a little.

Even Revelation (the most drug fueled holy scripture in history, and baby that's saying something) has him taking a back seat to a lot of monsters that the Heavenly Host unleashed on the Earth, while sitting back and getting pissed, watching with a lot of very high prophets.

Indeed. Lucifer has generally been a companion to humanity. It is only in the supreme dictator's point of view that he is anything other than an ally. Keep in mind that supreme dictator demands absolute perfection, and even murdered his own son in order to guarantee it.

If you truly believe there's no Hell or lake of fire, then you should have nothing to lose by breaking the sixth commandment that says not to kill and commit suicide in what you feel is the most comfortable way to go. Then you can find out how real Hell is. God put the forbidden fruit in the garden; but He had given instructions not to eat from it, which is a fairly simple command; and when they couldn't handle that He did what He said He'd do. He didn't give them a physical death right away; but He did cast them out of the garden on that day, which is death by separation from Him, which makes it difficult to get answers to questions like we'd like to get when we want them. If He wouldn't have cast them out of the garden, He would've given them the impression that they could do whatever they want with no consequences. The thing about doing the suicide thing is that it'll be too late to change your mind, so I wouldn't recommend it.

So what you're suggesting to me is that I should kill myself? That's a horrible thing to say to someone. It is your right to say it, but it reflects poorly upon your theology to do so. Lucifer has guided mankind in his and her quest for knowledge, where the supreme dictator has fought to hide that knowledge and, using your own words, cast them out of the garden and separated from them, because they wished to learn. What parent denies a child the right to gain knowledge of the world around them?

Whenever I think of Hell, I immediately think of this.
