Chakotay

I dunno i want to see the strings and the maronette who controlled him... His character seemed like it was a total puppet.

Kinda scarey to remind me of Ducakus, the presidential candidate for like in the 90's :)

Totally unanimated....

Oh for crying out loud!!! Chakotay was NOT useless and boring?! Why do you crazy ppl keep saying that?!!! The one who was crazy and annoying was Seven of Nine. Sorry, but I'm tired of everyone saying that Chakotay was a plank of wood. Riker was a plank of wood! Sorry to be soo MEEEOOOOWWW but that just irritates me.

I'm sorry you're getting so worked up, but rewatching Voyager on Spike, I am realizing that Chakotay is, in fact, useless and boring.

At the very least, he had awful dialogue that could have easily been delivered by any other character. And the majority of Chakotay-centric episodes were absolute nonsense.

Well, that's you're opinion, I guess. But it was the producers who made Chakotay's character seem that way. So I blame the producers for that.
I just don't like the fact of ppl coming on here saying that he was a plank of wood and had no personality. If he had no personality then they would have made him a vulcan like Tuvok. :vulcan: This Chakotay-bashing doesn't make much sense to me..it's nonsense.

For me Chakotay was one of my favourite characters. I very like the Chakotayepisodes "Tatoo", "Unity", "Initiations"..
I think without Chakotay Voyager wouldn`t be my fav Star Trek series.

Well, obviously.

And I'm not really trying to bash him. I don't hate Chakotay. I'm actually rather indifferent towards him. To me he is nothing but a space-filler that they writers didn't really know what to do with.
