I'm far more peeved about the choppy syndication edits and cuts in most of the Remastered episodes than I am about any of the new CGI additions. Frankly, the more believable-looking background stuff they can slip into the Remastered environments without getting TOO frickin' obnoxious the better. Some of those old 1966/67 matte paintings might be pretty, but in terms of depth and texture they just don't hold up anymore.
