Here you go. Amazon are offering it for pre-order. Of course, I'm looking for comments from someone who has actually seen it.

Haven't seen "Centurion" -- it's reportedly a bit stinky -- but there is a film called "The Eagle" based on Rosemary Sutcliff's "The Eagle of the Ninth" coming out next year. Here's hoping that one'll be as good as the book.

Rottentomatoes gives it 56% but the reviews are rather polarised. Apparently it has a downbeat ending but I have to say that since Gladiator, that isn't quite the unusual thing it used to be. Some films would be much better if they didn't have a happy ending tacked on the end. Then there's I am Legend. Sheesh.

It's premiered in a lot of countries already. USA will be last on Aug. 27 because it's already available on Video On Demand.
