CBS / Star Trek: Discovery at San Diego Comic Con 2018??

Last year, before the premiere, I was put off when Isaacs dared people not to watch. Now I'm totally on his side.

I actually thought that was all kinds of badass awesomeness. And, at the end of the day...he was right. Even the most staunch haters out here have watched. And they will for S2 as well, I'd guess.

Interesting that Isaacs is coming to the Trek convention in Vegas. Wouldn't seem like he'd bother going if he were done with the show.
It would be a shame if we didn't get more Lorca, in ten episodes Isaacs managed to create the most interesting Captain since Picard.

Well, loads of people who are done with Trek go to cons. And Isaacs clearly loved every minute of being associated with Trek so I wouldn't be surprised if he is a regular con attendee from now on. He's also doing Destination Star Trek in Europe.

Technically true but they should keep up or start up the suspense of "Will he or won't he come back?"

True, but not to be indelicate but a lot, but not all, of the perrenial panel members tend to be "Maybe it's okay for someone like @#$%^&, whose career is winding down." Discovery seems to have sent actors in full force to this one.

All weekend long, CBS will offer free “intergalactic” rides throughout San Diego’s Gaslamp District in pedicabs inspired by the design of the U.S.S. Discovery’s Captain’s Chair. The pedicabs will feature the chair’s distinctive stitched black seats as well as video monitors built into its armrests, which will screen trailers for the highly anticipated second season. As an added touch, each vehicle will display an illuminated U.S.S. Discovery delta shield on the back.

Now that's interesting. We might be getting trailers at SDCC.
