This YouTube channel has made up so much rubbish about Star Trek, and profits off it too with their Patreon and DVDs. They spread fake news, which makes and fosters ugliness in the fanbase that makes the rest of us look really bad!

This isn't a case of disagreeing with their views, but it is absurd they are still peddling the story that CBS doesn't have the rights to the original show or The Next Generation.

Shut it down.

And make them more popular and famous than they are right now? Best way to treat a conspiracy is to just ignore it. That or create alternate theories so nobody knows what form what. Why do you think we never found out who really killed JFK? It's because so many theories are out their it's hard to know which one is true or if the truth is one we haven't conceived as of yet.

Midnight's Edge's "sources" are a conspiracy theorist with zero grip on reality and an elderly lady who's greatest claim to fame is a Picard/Riker fanfic and donating money to help pay Alec Peters' ex-girlfriend's phone bill and gasoline.

They would also have to sue the nerdroic channel, randomgameuser42, ren rants, doomcock at overlord dvd, and at least a few more channels, plus randomgameuser42 was recently on geeks and gamers, so the star trek star trek critic channels are now partnering up with the channels that were the core of the star wars backlash. Midnight's edge might be appearing soon on worldclassbullshitters, and doomcock has already been on the high council, with geeks and gamers, worldclassbullshitters, and comicartistprosecrets. that's a lot of channels that cbs would need to sue.

I still think there's value in making an example of someone. It's a little "unfair" to single out one cretin, but whatyagonnado? *shrugs shoulders*

Well, no. They can selectively sue people.

After stomping out Axanar, it would probably be a good idea for CBS to not take a YT channel to court.

They have no basis for a lawsuit (Midnight Edge being demonstrably wrong would not be enough). If it were CBS would have long ago been sued out of existence.
