Seems like a bootstrapping (and fireproofing) issue.
I think they will have to assemble a new compelling team of professionals to have the credibility to raise any more big money from their list. And those professionals would have to create another demo to prove they are not just on paper. And those professionals will have to survive the management in the meantime. Where will they get new seed money? Suppose OWG wants to get their name on the bridge somewhere?
They are getting more realistic, in that the whole concept of screens and buttons on a bridge is basically empty air.. crew will be in VR or some sort of direct mind/automation interface, and maybe some sort of gesturing will complement whatever the control metaphors will be. Having spare automation interconnects s/b simpler than maintaining displays and trying to muck through "buttons" in sequence to get things done.
Love that there are still the below-console air vents/ repair access ports, like there have been at every office desk since the 60's.

Pity there isn’t an official Trek series that ticked all those boxes for them really
To get that True Trek effect, ya gotta be sure to use the right colors of cellulose taped behind the monitor cutouts, and have the guy in the outer hull that swipes the wire across the scanning lights below the viewscreen. Uneven carpet edges and paint on the turbolift walls, if you're going for TNG era. Authenticity is a fine art.
Yet again, where is the statement from OWC on Alec Peters stupid Facebook actions? Still all I can find is the Twitter replies stating "This matter is being handled and we apologize for this behavior. Thank you for bringing this to our attention."

If no action, they are probably temporizing, on the theory that their customers, board members, and employees will think 'a month ago' in internet terms is forever. They don't seem to be a public company, so stock holders may not be an issue.
For sure the best case for them is that this disappears with nothing but a private reprimand.
I am not sure Alec will be able to duck this. Moving into the territory of gun threats against critics pops the entire "sincere fan" bubble and reveals a real world unacceptability, no matter when any future donor or actor or fan or the like sees it. Set next to the excuses about a couple million gone, the whole picture becomes less tenable to describe as "fan overreach".

The whole TOS and later prime universe revealed to be a fan film project of idle humanoids displaced by AI... the only possible way to reconcile canon...

To be fair, there's no evidence the Author, Author! website is selling patches "for" Peters, only that he gave her the merchandise, for which she is under "no obligation" to pay anything back to Axanar. No obligation at all.
BTW, that merchandise, at the prices she's selling it for, appear to be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
