I've said for years that a documentary about the people and the psychology of people who make these fan films would make for a fascinating project, if you could get everyone to agree to do it.

Also: if a documentary about this whole embarrassment about Axanar gets made, I sincerely hope it will be called Casting Dispersions.
Given the egos involved. I think can think of a couple pf people who would do it and never get what was happening.

I prefer Criminal Enterprise myself.

It might interest everyone to know there are pewter models of the Ares on eBay for forty five bucks.

Huh. And one of the Korolev as well as one of the patches too.

No. Two Korolevs, and a Geronimo.

What does this mean? They've been shipped as perks and are being resold or something? I didn't remember that the ships were perks.

Huh.

Yes. I think everyone here does. Why do you ask?

@PhaserLightShow

Basically, i did not catch HMS Ark Royal suspects AP or some of his inner circle being active in this thread.

The discussion a page or two back about whether or not the Axabar big wigs read this thread got me thinking that it really is amazing that we haven't been overrun by Axanar fans. With so many people on the boards I find it hard to believe there aren't any around, but I guess they must figure it's pointless.

Maybe those, that have older accounts with positive reputation do not speak out vigorously because deep down thay know, that they are led on a fools crusade and don't want to risk loosing their accounts.

There are games that use miniatures in that exact scale, and those are priced at about $15 a piece. The four-engine Federation Battleship is only $25, and the boxed set of Klingon B-10 Battleship with four escort ships is only $40. So I ask you, why is this mini worth $45??

Star Wreck: Axadent?

Axa...not

Can I put it on record that I had a good chat with RMB today regarding the new Rogue One trailer? He tweeted a question about why the stormtroopers were firing on moisture farmers, and I jokingly replied the moisture farmers were Axanar Haters. We then had a good couple of minutes chatting and joking and then said something about Prelude I'd not noticed before - a YT-1300 freighter appears in the Prelude mockumentary! He posted a picture of the scene and it is just visible...

I don't think Robert is all that bad, actually... Just caught up in a bit of bad business

He's a full-blown case of NPD, it's that simple.

Never Permit Dissent?

I've seen Asian companies that knock off things like ships and sell on ebay. They seem to get around to everything.

Why would anyone lose their account here simply because they are working on Axanar, or talking about their experience? I should think it would only be if they were just trying to disrupt things like for example repeating the same argument 20 times, which would apply to anyone.

I am the Inner Circle. I am the First Son of Axanar, Holder of the Holy Premiums, Keeper of the Green Screen, Lord of the Sacred Studio of Photo Shop.

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Ban Grenade of Axanar, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and targs and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Password. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Ban Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
King Alec: Right. One... two... five.
Sir Mike: Three, sir.
King Alec: Three.
