"Don't look for us online, you'll just find all those hater pages filled with the truth about what we're doing."I wonder how Alec explains his cloak of secrecy to new "donors" he his hustling up at cons these days. "Like my FaceBook Page!" - but you have to be an approved "donor" first. "Follow me on Twitter!" - but only if I follow you back. It's bizarre, and must be off putting for a lot of potential "donors". "I'm awesome!" - but you can't find me online. Good luck with that.

I think it's more like how Marvel has Stan Lee as an exec producer on all their films. He's not doing much but it's an homage. At this point it's becoming "stunt casting." Shatner will be a creative consultant before they're done.![]()
Everyone "gets" it in their own way. David Gerrold says he decides who gets Star Trek and that is also a lie because everyone likes different things about it. You know, IDIC and everything.I don't know whether he is a fan or not. But he definitely doesn't seem to "get" Star Trek.

Peters' version of Star Trek seems to be pewpew over character (a lot like JJ's).
It wasn't easy to find a halfway decent photo of Judge Klausner, but I finally did.Thats the only image of him I could find too - very camera shy indeed
$20 that at least one of Peters scripts had someone screaming 'KHAARN!!!'
Of course - Starfleet emergency rations are made up of KHAAAAAAAAAARNed food
How are magic blood and a tribble fanwank?I dunno. Second movie was pretty fanwank. Spock screaming Kahn and magic blood and a tribble in for good measure.
Not seeing the mimicry there, plotwise. They shared some characters and had that one "homage". The plot made about a much sense as most Trek outings. The plot made no sense and tried to mimic a better movie.
