@Michael Hinman, I have uncovered their secret plan and have presented it below:

Well, come on the Axanar feature was due in December of 2014 originally. So obviously you have to figure in time dilation/extension for any time related deadline posted by an actual member of the Axanar Productions team.
Well played Sir..........

Midweek, midday is an interesting time for planned maintenance. Especially when your lead article on your Facebook site points to the host you're taking down.

From their public Faceboock page:

Happy Wednesday, everyone! A quick update to let you know that our server move this morning was a success and the geeky bits that allowwww.axanarproductions.com to get to the website's new home are working their way through the internet now. Everyone should be able to reach the website again in anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, and some folks are surfing the site right now. Thank you for your patience while this long-postponed hardware move was finally crossed off of the to-do list!

Translation: Relocation to Russian Mafia controlled ISP (that also allows massive Spamming of e-mail, etc.) so that when the court order hits our former reputable ISP to take our site down, we can say: :nyah: to Paramount/Cbs; is complete. DNS servers should be updated soon.
:whistle::hugegrin: (joking here...maybe;))

site relocation is a perfectly legit explanation for down time. maybe they don't have enough traffic for it to really matter when they take it down.

Apparently all production has stopped. About four hours ago, Peters posted on the Axanar Fan Group site that since they won't go ahead with production until they've replied to CBS in court, he has no more updates about production to give in his Captain's Log. So, they are encouraging fans to email them what Axanar and "Star Trek" mean to them. The best ones will be posted daily in the Captain's Log. The best one of the week will get sent a "Starfleet Emergency Response" patch. In the comments, someone asked him if costume and set work has stopped, too. His response was he can't say due to the litigation.
Apparenlty, things are percolating, Jerry!

well either they just don't care, or they feel it would be a problem to edit a former press release instead of just removing it:

from axanarpr.com site, article "AXANAR Hits First Target, Confirms Shooting to Begin Early 2016":

(Valencia, CA; July 31, 2015) – Just twenty days into its crowdfunding campaign to finance principal photography and visual effects, AXANAR, a Star Trek film written and produced by a team of professional, independent filmmakers, passed its goal to fully fund the first of four episodes in the project.

... [body of article]...

AXANAR and PRELUDE TO AXANAR are projects produced by AXANAR Productions at ARES Studios in Valencia, CA. Axanar Productions specializes in science fiction entertainment including, but not limited to, film/television production, web content production, books and games. It take a while to file off the serial numbers.

So, I've moved websites from one server to another at a different provider several times, and I haven't encountered DNS propagation lags to match the one Axanar's having.

Unless it's a prior page before the site went down, the site just loaded for me. As before, the video flyby of the Ares doesn't load, though. No apparent changes. No new log entries.

Well, SOMEONE at the legal team must have gotten something through Mr. Peters head as the 3 minute Axanar feature Vulcan scene (with Gary Graham reprising Ambassador Soval). So I guess someone was able to get him to see that having a blatant copyright violation on the internet regarding the unlicensed feature CBS/Paramount is suing over isn't a good legal strategy. :guffaw:

Anyone save the video? The scene has now been put on private. Just my luck I miss saving it before it happen. At this point, the way things are going that scene is the entire Axanar movie >.< and will probably stay that way. Can someone link it? I guess I should consider it a lost artifact of Axanar to never be seen again.

Don't worry, if this goes to trial I'm sure CBS will show it as evidence; and CNN, et. al. will probably include it in any coverage they do of the trial. If however there is some sort of pre-trial settlement (although I doubt that the route Paramount/CBS want o take as it's pretty obvious they are suing to send a clear message as to what happens when a group goes too far) it will probably never appear on the internet again.

Time will tell.

And your greatest weakness ?
Silver....I was bitten by a werebeast, I don't turn, per say, I just get a little gruff on nights with full moons
Would you give him the interview, if you then post an audio (video, if possible) transcript to ensure he won't then turn around say you misquoted him?

Would you give him the interview if he and Alec both appear in the new lie-detector dunk tank? Would ya? Huh?
