CBS/Paramount sues to stop Axanar

Not quite sure what you mean... 3 lines is hardly a page.

Even if you add up all of my replies to your post just now... still not a page.
1) That doesn't actually prove that you CAN'T fill a page, and I only ever claimed that you could, not that you would.

2) You also said this:
I wouldn't make a few sentences.
I'd say that your seven sentences is more than just "a few", so you lack a little credibility in this department.

QFT!

There's been plenty of that already during the entire course of this dumpster fire.
There comes a time to get over and move onward, because we've all gotten to know and exchange ideas with folk we wouldn't have without that certain unfavorable event a couple years back. Most of us are here because it effected us in one way or the other and feel our Trek lives diminished to some varying degree. We could jump up and down, get angry and mockingly provoke ire but we can't change what happened.
A lot of creative, talented people have been drawn together and some of us know that when this page is archived, that which holds us together is in jeopardy of fading away.

So, I put this question to you: If you personally felt that a franchise you loved were being mismanaged and that those producing crowd funded fan films where doing a better job producing quality content and respecting the franchise, would you personally care if those making the films made a profit? Or would you just be glad they were making the content you wanted?

I most certainly DO care and would hope that it would be stopped: HARD!

I do enjoy Trekzone, even more when they reach out to actual producing Fan Film studios so we can get a glimpse of where they've been, what current stage they are in and what's upcoming in the future.

Thanks for posting---had not seen it up. The whole Gabe thing just blows my mind.........a 35 year old "prank calling" anyone is just stupid.....much less 100 times from your OWN PHONE number. SMH.

Indeed! 'Voir dire' I'd never even heard of. IP law, IP lawsuits&lawyers, IP rulings, even how lawsuits work & what they're often used for was only vague to me at best. A whole new world in film dialogue, especially in TV, has opened up for me. I watch one particular show just to listen to them say all the court and jury words.... because I know wtf they're talking about now and this stuff is extremely interesting to me.

A lot of creative, talented people have been drawn together
And I am honored to have met you, dmac, and those other talented folks during this time. At times thiswholething has .... has been .... in understatement, disheartening. Balancing that is the joy I've found being introduced here in this thread to writers and producers of fan films&fiction&audio Trek and their work. My world in fan productions has broadened past my widest previous imaginings.

Talk about your silver linings. Thank you thank you all who keep making all this stuff without me even lifting a finger except to 'click', and just serving it up for my/our viewing/reading/listening pleasure.

and some of us know that when this page is archived, that which holds us together is in jeopardy of fading away.
Hunh. I hadn't though about that.

Yes, dmac. For me a degree that brought heaviness to my Star Trek heart.
