I really love how all out Paramount went to make a nonmovie. They actually put out something to theaters to keep everyone off the scent.

With all due respect, that sounds like the best course of action given your distaste for the Abrams era films. God willing, it will also (hopefully) mean that you won't feel the need to spend post after post complaining about the film, either.
I'm all for courteous discourse and constructive criticism, so I look forward to the discussions on that level, but the screeds, not so much.

Until you see it, you won't have a valid, informed opinion. As a fan for over 40 years, I enjoyed the hell out of it. And unlike Axanar, it actually exists.

I just watched Beyond, and it felt spot on like the TOS we know. Light years better than anything Axanar could have dredged together.

With the average ticket of $10 it means just about 500.000 people have seen STB on its opening?
Compare this to 2,5 Mil. viewers vor the Prelude To Axanar youtube video.
Clearly such a win for AP! The fans thus have spoken - everything new from CBS/P tanks in comparison to the great AXANAR!
