So how many episodes of Young Sheldon will the show last?

The trailer for Young Sheldon grew on me the more it went but comedy spinoff's are not easy to do. I think its 50/50 that the show will make to a 2nd season.

9JKL is possibly the worst name ever for a show and I think S.W.A.T and Criminal Minds should swap places. Actually Criminal Minds should be on Friday or Sunday night at it's current age. I imagine Elementary will be a shorter season? I hope they tell the writers up front that this will be the last and to wrap it up.

I agree. I had to look up what it was about, and it sounds stupid. However the name should have been called 'Apartments 9JKL' or simply 'Middle Apartment'.

I have fond memories of the 70s sitcom Alice, but reruns just do not hold up. (The Mum in 9JKL is Alice, all grown up.)

9JKL looks like it's aiming for the same demo as The Odd Couple did the last couple years.

Thanks for this. In the end I didn't need it and managed to watch the trailer on You Tube. It looks like it's taking its cues more from the 2003 film than the original 1970s show and is adding a dollop of things straight from the headlines. At least they had the iconic theme at the end of the trailer .
