CBS All Access

Has anyone experienced streaming problems with CBS. I have watched all of Season 1 and 2 up to this point with no major problems. However, episode 12 Will not play. I get audio and an error message saying, "Uh oh there is an error. We will be back up streaming shortly." At first I attributed this to high demand on Thursday. But it has continued to today. Any ideas? I'm checking with CBS too.

I had some problems early on with Season 1. This year, I opted to do my subscription through Amazon Prime. The only issues I've had this year were on Episodes 10 and 11, I was unable to watch it through the app on my TV. Thankfully, I have other devices capable of streaming and they seemed to resolve the problem Thursday.

But yeah, I'd call CBSAA customer support.

No problem. But I also am using Roku. I also do not watch immediately when the show drops. I usually wait until next day.

Nothin here. CBS seems pretty solid on my connection. I've also been watching DS9 on it and it seems clearer and sharper than on Netflix.

I've been thinking lately of finding the best way to stream, as I'm behind on Discovery. I like Amazon for things and am considering Amazon Prime.

We have PRIME and the Mrs. signed up for All Access (unbeknownst to me at the time) back in January.

I have had no problem streaming DISCOVERY from my PC to my TV.
Since the signal is HD it actually looks pretty good on the 60" LED.

I had just one moderate hiccup at about episode 4 or 5 of the first season. Other than that my streaming experience has been fine.

I stream the app from an XBox One S.

I haven't had any problems with the Amazon Prime channel version of CBS All Access on an Amazon Fire device.

Roku is very stable for me. I did have to upgrade my old Roku at the begining of S1. Once it would not play the latest episode. So I played and fast fwd previous episode all the way to the end then it played latest episode with no issues. Not sure why but its never happened since.

Using the CBS app on my smart TV and I haven't had any problems. But I did leave it on pause for an extended time and got an error message. But that only happened once.

For a large percentage of the time, there has been heavy buffering issues. But that may be due more to the fact that our internet is from a Boost Mobile $50 unlimited card every month.

Going to try going through Amazon Prime, with their free month, and time the week's free CBS to get the season finale of Discovery and catch up on Red Angel and subsequent episodes.

Don't expect improvement with the buffering, though, because of Boost.

I had more problems last season. I am currently without cable and share wifi with a neighbor across the street, and I'm stunned at how good it comes in. Though I tend to do my repeat watches on my phone.

Does it freeze for anyone else right before the commercials? That’s almost every time for me. I always exit out, then click Resume.
It doesn't freeze, but usually at the end of the commercial break it takes a bit to buffer before resuming the show. But that tends to happen for other streaming services I've used that have commercials, so it's probably not unique to me.

I have also been using Roku for season 2. I haven't had any problems on Roku. I did experience some issues early in season 1.

It absolutely will not go into the commercial break unless I exit and resume. But then it's fine until the next commercial break. Every time, every episode of both seasons.

Watching on my laptop. I've never had a problem with CBSAA before tonight. I get to a certain point in tonight's episode, and it freezes. Damn it! It was getting good!
