Something I hope might amuse the many cat owners :

Cat cam video

Scientists have been using special miniature cameras and a GPS system, nicknamed 'cat-nav' to learn more about the behaviour of cats.

The new study reveals what our pets really get up to when they go out on their own. Cat owner, Jim Fowler explains to BBC News that it was interesting to see where his pet travelled to...

Love the POV bit where cat stops to lap up some water...

I bought a dog cam for my mom. It's pretty fun to see what the four-legged dudes are up to when you're not around.

You haven't posted a new one of the big guys in a while. How are they?
We had to put Käthe down about 6 weeks ago (she had super-agressive cancer, she had only two more weeks left when we found out), I still get kinda choked up talking about it :(

We did the right thing though, we spared her a lot of suffering and she was feeling pretty good right until the end.

Hermes is fine :)

I've always wanted to know what my pets were up to when I am gone....I always imagine lots of booze and hard partying.

On a couple of occasions I have had a webcam running at home so I could go on-line with my portable and see what's happening while I'm not home... more boring webcam-feeds are difficult to find :rommie:

I have however wanted a night-cam on the cat itself for some time now, it doesn't need GPS or wireless functionality; I only want to see what she gets up to when out and about :bolian:

i heard about some study like this... they found the cats spend most of the time sleeping in a neighbours garden and similar. really dull it turned out....

I hope everyone realises that the scientists in question will undoubtedly have came up with this pun first, probably after a pint or two, and only then decided to fill out the research grant application and make up a reason for doing the study. :D
