Catherine Tate sighting.

That was meant to be slightly melodramatic for slight comic effect, but my point still stands.

As Lt Saavik might say, humour is a difficult concept.

I think you'll find my criticisms of them are of their work and not their character. Again, please learn the diffference.

Really? I seem to recall quite differently (particularly with regards to your favourite person in the universe) but frankly I don't have time to trawl through various threads so I will take your word for it.

Though I notice you only quoted the last line of my post. Should I take it that you agree with the rest?

Not really. I thought Bacl made a fair point, quite frankly I doubt anyone on this forum will have the sort of success Catherine Tate has had. They could, of course, but on the balance of probablities its unlikely.

I may have called RTD arrogant or somesuch when we saw him booming on Confidential about how his latest Chucklevision-equivalent should be used to teach scriptwriting, or thought it poor form to dismiss his critics as "ming-mongs" or "bastards", but I've not made unwarranted attacks on his character the way many do here towards me. Furthermore, I've never made personal attacks on people here because of differing opinions on a TV show.

Poor Cathy. Doing bit parts in crappy Jack Black movies now. Gullivers Travels adaptation. Really?

Ah well. Its a speaking part in a big-budget Hollywood production. So hopefully the money was good.

Do yourself a favor though and fast forward to 1:52 or so to catch her 'blink or you'll miss it' shot.

She's playing the Queen of Lilliput alongside Billy Connolly as the King. I'd say that is a pretty decent gig.

And calling James Corden 'fatty'? :)
Err, well he is?
Or calling Karen Gillen vacuous Bones, as you did in the TEH thread?
That's how she seemed based on every interview I'd seen with her at the time. My particular favourite was when she said when she was selected as the companion but couldn't tell anyone, she'd use the code "panic room", which is an anagram for "companion". Except, of course, it isn't. That said, pretty much anyone getting interviewed on GMTV comes across as a halfwit, due to a mix of the time of morning and the anodyne questioning and presenters. She's seemed quite nice on Confidential.

Except, the code she used was "panic moon", which is.
