Casting and Recasting The X-Men

The writers really made a 180 on her character. She's a good looking women, they just couldn't have her be a strong woman. But she did look good in the sailor suit even though it completely ruined her. I almost chose Pamela Hensley aka Princess Ardala. Then I remember all my friends talking about who's hotter Wilma or Ardala, the Wilma side was larger so I was with them.

Googling her in the season 2 sailor suit, On The Good Ship Lollipop started playing in my head.

No, he's dead.

Though even if he wasn't, I'd suggest that 42 is generally rather long in the tooth for teen/young adult part.

I'd also suggest that he wasn't super great a casting in the first place, given that he was a fairly pale-skinned Mexican and 'Berto is a dark-skinned Brazilian (sometimes identified as Afro-Brazilian) in the comics*.

* This is perhaps oddly one of the things that X-Men 97 has got wrong, though I didn't pick up on it initially.

The above character appears to have been inspired by the other Sunspot LA actor, Henry Zaga (who has some of the same issues as Canto, but to a lesser degree), thus explaining the fairly pale skin.
