Casting and Recasting The X-Men

Maybe, but he's 13 years younger than Ian. I would think it depends on the script, and what age they want to use for the character.
If you go through all the comics, Magneto was occasionally shown looking a bit younger depending on the artist.

And then yeah, it depends on how young or old they want to show them.

Not quite. To me, he's more of a Nightcrawler type. And I never took him to be a Grandmaster until it happened.
Was the comics version of the Grandmaster more menacing? I can't say I even remember him from the comics.

The movie version was a little bit daffy. I feel like Jeff has a certain look that might work for Magneto.

You could say he was a taller, blue-skinned alien version of Dilbert's pointy-headed boss. Not that intimidating overall. Once he was humorously killed by a bored villain in an '80s Marvel comic just after proposing yet another survival game.

Yeah, she is.
I really, really can't see Jeff Goldblum as Magneto, he's just way to dark, serious, and menacing of a character for Goldblum.

Mads Mikkelsen for Magneto.

And make him Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver's father.

EDIT: Crap, I forgot he already played an MCU villain. What a waste.

I'd probably go full Harry Potter mode and cast unknowns as the students*. Pull in "big names" as the adults: Charles, Magneto, Emma Frost, Moira and Banshee.

*Student body would pull from all eras to fill out the school. The Uncanny, the All-New All Different, New Mutants and beyond. Which they did do in "New Class", but that's the approach I like.

The Grandmaster never had much of a personality in the comics, so really Goldblum had nothing to really base his performance on.

Personally I'd have gone with Jeremy Irons or Christoph Waltz as Magneto

His gimmick was to take two super hero teams and make them fight in an Annual or special event.

70s Avengers vs 70s The Squadron Supreme.
70s Avengers vs 70s The Defenders
80s Avengers vs Every "significant" Marvel hero and villain who had ever died in the last 20 years, in Hell, offered ressurection if they kill the current (expanded) roster of the Avengers.

Taylor Swift may be a little too old for Dazzler. I'd suggest Olivia Rodrigo.

Taylor is 33.

It all depends on whether you want play Dazzler as a hungry young starlet on the rise, or a sad failed one hit wonder wannabee telling the same story over and over again about that one time 15 years ago when she played Madison Square Garden... Oh! That's Sunset Boulevard or Londo Mollari. :)

Dazzler the Disco Queen - Geri Halliwell.
Selene The Black Queen - Victoria Beckham.
Calisto the Morlock Queen - Mel C
Emma Frost The White Queen - Emma Bunting.
Storm the Wakandan Queen - Mel B

Let's leave the Dpice Girls out of it !

I've always seen Dazzler as early 30's - kind of Sheryl Crow back in the day.

Taylor Swift (who looks a little younger than sge is) would be perfect now.

Mikkleson or Waltz would be awesome as Magneto, Jeremy Irons would be cool too, but I'd like the other two a little better.
