I was looking through a doodle book and found a shape which piqued my interest. I believe I first scribbled that in relation to the TRON challenge a while back.

Clearly a Nova-like deflector setup. Also noticeable: the error I made when applying the same texture as the placeholder warp grille...

The ship isn't big, 6 decks tops. The bridge probably makes that clear the best way, what without windows blocked in at this point. I also took some more cues from the Nova by using pretty big RCS thrusters. For a cargo ship, with all the bulk that will be added underneath, that seems logical:

Maybe I'll move the shuttlebay aft a bit, omitting most of the "landingpad" and letting the doors open directly out into the void instead. Not that I need the space...

I'll also probably tone down on the bussards, which now have an insane amount of segments to make up the round shape, taxing the rendering for an object which is not that important to look smooth AF. Variant ships, while omitting the red glass over them, also don't need that high detailed bussards.
