carbon creek - continuity error (not the velcro one)

Trip saying that when the Vulcan who stayed behind died they would find his pointed ears but he didn't mention the Vulcan Green blood. If the guy had stayed behind and was found to have pointed ears and Green blood it would have been in the HIstory books.
You know, I actually gave this some thought when the episode first aired, and decided that Mestral would make sure that his body would not be discovered after he died.

Maybe he went on some long hike or journey into a remote wilderness where he then died in a location where his Vulcan remains would be consumed by local predators or any skeletal fragments would be quickly buried under foliage, dirt, snow or sand?

All I know is that in this episode, T'pol changes her clothes behind a sheet hanging on a laundry line--and we clearly see her delicious curves in a dark shadow sillhouette on the white sheet. That's all I know. Not germane, perhaps, but very cool.

I'm not averse to Blalock nipple. Even when I couldn't stand her acting.

I am.

At least I am when she's T'Pol or T'Pol's gran.

Maybe if she deflated her lips?

Velcro was invented by George De Mestral.

The word velcro is a contracted conjunction for velvet crochet.

Suitable kudos was was awarded to the creator for an allowable fiddle with the letters of history. :)

When Nebus1 first posted about guy with dark green bld he presented it as if the guys Blood was normally Green

Later E-blonde posted an explanation that the guy had Sulpher in his blood which caused the Green Color.

so in fact that Canadian normally had Red blood and when Sulpher was cleaned from his blood it returned to that Red Color.

Mestral had Green Blood normally, all of the time. there was no way of changing to another color 3xcept by possibly some chemical compound which would not last.

So when Mestral died an a Doctor performed and autopsy on hiim the doctor would find the Green blood and Vulcan DNA. that would go down in HIstory Boooks.

Nah - more like it go on the cover of Weelkly World News next to another 'Bat-Boy' story. ;)

Good one, but how about something even simpler...

He lived until First Contact...It's only a little over 100 years later...Easy for a Vulcan.

As long as he didn't get wiped out by a nuclear blast in WW3.

Dude probably caused it. ;)

So every person who dies in the USA gets an autopsy?

So no one's covering up alien contacts in Roswell and hiding (Ferengi?) artifacts in Area 51?

Perfect. The unrealized season 5 would have featured the return of Blalock's grandmother's nipple in this agreeable and unwholesome manner. She would disrobe with the sound of velcro, George De Mestral would suffer "convenient" phaser burns.
It would be called "Continuity Creek."

Of course, back in the 2150s when T'Pol was telling the "Carbon Creek" story, 1950s still was the first human-Vulcan contact. 1930s would only become the first contact in the 2260s. :vulcan:
This, and time travel is cheating so I propose that non-time altering contacts should only be considered for first contacts.

The definitions of "first contact" are rather strict anyway: in DS9 "Move Along Home", it's not a first contact yet when some Vulcans meet some Wadi and invite them to the Alpha Quadrant and to DS9. It's not first contact when the aliens go to Quark's and buy drinks. It's only first contact when Commander Sisko in his dress uniform goes and shakes the hand of the Wadi leader and goes through some carefully written protocol.

Followed by the series finale, "Shit Creek."

OH. Wait. We got that one for real didn't we?
