All Capt. Harriman did was get weak in the knees and stumble repeatedly over his command. And yet he's got a line of books.

Captain Harriman hasn't had a "line" of books. He was a supporting character in The Captain's Daughter by Peter David, the main character in a short story from Enterprise Logs, and the main character in the Lost Era novel Serpents Among the Ruins by David R. George III.

Having said that, I see no reason that they can't do a Robau/U.S.S. Kelvin novel if they can come up with a good story.

I would read a book about Captain Robau if it also focused on George Kirk and his wife along with the rest of the crew, though I doubt they would do a TV show about it if they filmed it I would watch it.

I think the source of this Robau worship is the fact that for once, we got a Starfleet captain in the movie series, that wasn't called James Kirk, who wasn't a total tool. Styles, Harriman, Esteban, etc, were all jerks who made Kirk look better.

Robau may have been fragged in the first five minutes, but as someone pointed out, Boba Fett had the same amount of screentime, and also met with an ignoble and unheroic demise.

Sadly, Boba Fett came off better as a ten-year-old kid in Episode II than he did flying into the Sarlaac Pit in JEDI. For all the prequels' flaws and missed opportunities, at least they didn't let Boba go down like a screaming punk with his arms flailing. Being swallowed by a giant sand vagina? Ugh. I'd rather be Anakin hitting on Padme in wooden fashion by a lakeside.

Well I could see the Finale of Star Trek Kelvin being titled: "The Robau Story: What Really Happened..."

We cut to when Nero's about to impale him and he instantly dodges, takes away that pike... staff... thing... and starts kicking everyone's ass. The movie events were altered to make it seem like he died, but we all know that's not true. :P lol

At least we can dream. :3

If nothing else, Tahir can do an online fan film as Robau and find a way to tie the Kelvin into that group's productions. I'd watch it. For damn sure.

Depict missions of the Kelvin in the mid-to-late 2220s. Close enough to the new film so things look and seem the same. But not so close that you keep expecting the Narada to emerge from a black hole any minute.

I think that'd be a prerequisite for any Robau project to be made in the first place. George Kirk is the dad of one of the most famous heroes in modern pop culture, so for anything about the Kelvin or Robau to underplay or ignore the Kirks would be insane and an insult.
